Rosemary Cline
Rosemary is a classically trained, SAG-AFTRA actor based in NY. A first generation Armenian-American, she’s assembling a cookbook of her mother’s recipes, father’s Armenian folklore & filled with fun family pictures. She is a founding member and principal actor & director of an Equity company in its 40th season. Her extensive training and experience with improv and comedy keeps her focused and nimble as a narrator. In addition, her years performing and directing new works by emerging writers lends itself to author collaboration and story interpretation. She excels in character arc, storytelling and getting the tone that’s called for. Her favorite genres to read & narrate in fiction are magic, romance, women’s fiction, children’s literature, and cozy mysteries; tales filled with adversity, redemption and rich/complicated relationships. In nonfiction: self-mastery, finance and embracing ageing. She organised and ran a fine arts fundraising auction at Christie’s NY of Asian Elephant paintings and, yup, they paint with their trunks! She has one of the paintings in her home, by Juttenah, an orphaned baby elephant, one of the lucky few to be sponsored by the princess of Thailand.
