Liz Robertson
Liz is a BJTC qualified, award winning journalist and presenter currently working for the BBC at Media City. She has produced, reported and presented hundreds of hours of radio and TV for the BBC – including flagship programmes such as Countryfile, Restoration, Strictly Come Dancing, and Radio 4’s Pick of the Week, to name a few. Liz is also a voice artist, radio drama actor and professional storyteller with a natural passion for bringing pages to life, for audiences of all ages. She is a voice chameleon and can change her tone from newsreader to Lancashire lass next door, with ease. She is a soprano singer performing in a professional electropop band, which comes in handy for jingles. She has a first class BA Hons degree in Media & English (University of Leeds, University of Liverpool John Moores) and a Masters Degree (Distinction) in Journalism. She is also a real animal lover and vegetarian mummy of a one-year old bouncing baby boy. She has a rescue collie dog who (along with my Spanish classical guitarist husband and baby) – is the love of her life!!
