Jensen Olaya
Jensen has completed an MFA in Acting from Columbia, speaks fluent Tagalog, and one of her audiobook narrations is currently being considered for a Grammy. She has lived in Bataan, Philippines, Yokohama, Japan, San Diego, and now, New York City. As a mother of two children, she is focused on narratives that prioritize racial and gender equality, anti-racism, inclusivity, parent-child relationships, and finding the magic in the everyday. Projects elevating Asian American politics and showcasing the nuances of Asian family dramas are also important to her. Jensen is teaching her kids Tagalog and about their mixed Filipino, Swedish, Scottish, and American heritage.
