Ann Richardson

Ann was raised in Nebraska, where she was active in 4-H (sheep, horses, and rabbits), drama and singing throughout her youth. Her smooth narration style lends itself well to romance, memoirs, and non-fiction texts. On top of that, she is of Swedish heritage and speaks it conversationally. She records equal shares fiction and non-fiction, specializing in Scandinavian books and spiritual texts. Among her more than 350 titles, four have been awarded AudioFile Magazine’s coveted Earphones awards. Ann records full-time from her home studio in the San Francisco Bay Area, in a built-in sound treated booth, on an Austrian Audio OC818 with a PreSonus Studio68c to Twisted Wave. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, long-distance running, going fishing, photographing wildlife, and picking up cool rocks on her hikes to bring home and tumble in her rock polisher.
