William Kirby

William is a native British-English speaker, born in Dover, Kent. After having the benefit of living in many different parts of England he has now settled in Wiltshire, the county of his grandfather’s birth. He has three sons who are mostly grown up and making lives of their own. William has trained as a civil engineer and has also worked in the software industry. He is an active member of local am-dram groups and has enjoyed using his voice on stage for over ten years. Mainly as a pantomime dame – although he has done more serious roles including Eddie in Alan Ayckbourn’s “ Seasons Greetings “ and Lieutenant Johnstone in “Our Country’s Good”. He is now happy to do any genre of voice work, feeling comfortable in anything from brief promotions and voice-overs, to more lengthy narration tasks. When not in the studio William likes to get on his bike and burn some calories in the Wiltshire countryside.
