Serena Gay

Serena trained as a BBC radio journalist before moving to Berlin. Here she worked solidly for the next 20 years (in English) as a TV news presenter and narrator of serious documentaries and light-hearted features for international TV and radio broadcaster Deutsche Welle. She was also the station voice for Deutsche Welle Radio in English. Parallel to this “day job”, Serena also narrated a huge variety of private commissions including films, museum and art exhibition audio tours, cartoon voices and e-learning software. Serena is now back in the UK working as an audio book narrator and rediscovering the quintessentially English joys of Waitrose, the Cheltenham Literary Festival and dental treatment on the NHS.
