Richard Dadd

Richard Dadd

Richard Dadd

Richard played over 25 distinct characters in his nationally award-nominated radio comedy series. In addition, he has voiced characters for commercials, animations and short films, as well as supplied prose readings and factual narration for BBC Radio. While still at school, Richard won a TV talent competition with his impressions, being awarded his prize on live telly by Jon Culshaw. This knack for performance continued into adulthood, with Richard acting and presenting on local radio, and popping up at festivals and spoken word events with monologues and stand-up. Since graduating with a degree in Contemporary Literature, Richard has continued to explore his love of storytelling and performance. He is not to be confused with the insane Victorian artist Richard Dadd, who painted fairies, murdered his father, and tried to assassinate the Pope. Our Richard has never once painted a fairy.
