Matthew Patterson

Matt is a former fireman, Yosemite backcountry rescue ranger and rescue diver. His work as an extreme first responder and his love for the outdoors led him to form Extreme Seams, a company which repairs seams for equipment used by first responders, pilots, seamen and outdoor enthusiasts. His many years working in the rough country and telling stories around the fire led him to professional storytelling. As a classically trained storyteller and commercial actor, Matt brings a passion to his work that can only come from firsthand experience and knowledge of adventure. He specializes in adventure, science-fiction, history, self-help, stories of survival and romance novels. Matt is known for his interpretation of descriptive imagery and placing the listener in the action as well as having a knack for accents and dialects.
