Alexandra Ryan

An actor of different disciplines, Alexandra records audiobooks from her home in LA. She grew up on the stage (starting when she was 5), then studied theater at British American Drama Academy and improv at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Alexandra has been seen on multiple tv shows and films, and also has a lengthy voice over resume which includes animation, video games and commercials.

Specializing in a variety of fiction genres, most notably YA and Middle Grade, Alexandra is known for her realistic portrayal of young characters. She was on the Booklist Editors’ Choice: Youth Audio, 2023 for one of her middle grade books. She has been praised for her ease with dialects and accents, and she was lauded by an author for being able to “pull off the first person narration from a kid’s POV, and also has the gravitas to do justice to the ghosts and some of the more serious chapters.” Her favorite stories are those that make people feel seen, and less alone.

Alexandra is a puzzle enthusiast (regular, wordle, sudoku and people), is a television junkie and is obsessed with her 10 pound Falcor of a dog, Sadie.
