Kelly Birch

Kelly Rose Birch was born in Kent in England and has been using her voice to entertain and educate for more than 20 years. While still in England, she began her career as an actor with leading roles in such plays as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Salad Days. Since moving to America Kelly Rose has continued her acting but has principally been a molecular epidemiologist in Berkeley, California. She is the “Voice of Alcatel-Lucent Technologies” (the European equivalent of AT&T), where she is the voice that tens of millions of customers hear on their mobile phone menus. Now a yoga instructor, she has produced a bestselling audio CD on yoga nidra. Kelly was once a Buddhist nun in Sri Lanka and worked at Mother Theresa’s Home for the Destitute and Dying in Calcutta.
